Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe

Cooking Spaghetti Bolognese the Asian Style

The Asians have a version of almost every famous meal that you can think off and that includes spaghetti Bolognese. Every place you go, you can find a version of spaghetti Bolognese that is unique to that place and that is customized to fit the taste of the resident of that country. You can go to Italy and find a different version of spaghetti Bolognese form the one in America as well as the one in Asia. If you are the type who are into culinary adventures then you might want to try out this recipe of spaghetti Bolognese cooked the Asian style:

You will need the following ingredients:

A pack of minced meat
3 pieces of large chopped onions
10 cloves of crushed and chopped garlic
3 tablespoons of black powdered pepper
A large bottle of spaghetti paste
6 or more chopped or sliced reddish tomatoes
A bottle of tomato sauce
A tin of instant tomato soup
2 cans of sliced button mushrooms
2 medium sized or more carrots that is sliced into cubes
3 medium sized or more potatoes that is cut into cubes
3 tablespoons or less of chili powder
Cooked firm spaghetti noodles

Step by step guide on how to cook it:

  1. Place 4-5 tablespoons of oil in a heated pot for frying. Place in and stir the garlic until it turns into golden brown color. Continuously stir and put in the onion and wait for it to turn golden brown as well.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the tomato sauce and the chili powder. After mixing, pour it into the pot and stir.
  3. The chili should be well cooked. The oil will turn to red as an indication that it is well cooked already and this will take approximately 10 -15 minutes.
  4. When the chili is cooked, pour in the spaghetti paste and let it cook for ten minutes. Make a constant stirring motion to avoid lumps in the sauce.
  5. While continuously stirring, add the tomato sauce and the carrots.
  6. Let stand for 3 minutes and place in the cubed potatoes. You also have to add the minced meat on the sauce and wait for to be cooked while continuously stirring it. Approximate wait time for the meat to be cooked is 10-15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the black pepper to the sauce. You can always add more pepper if you want it to be hotter.
  8. Add the mushrooms. Stir it and you can also add some salt and sugar according to your preference of taste.
  9. Carefully place the sweet reddish tomatoes while stirring the sauce. Let it stand for a couple of minutes.
  10. Place cooked spaghetti in a plate and top it off with the newly cooked spaghetti Bolognese Asian style. Lastly, enjoy the fruits of your labor. It’s always better to share it with someone so call on a friend and serve the sumptuous Asian style spaghetti Bolognese with pride.
