Spaghetti Bolognese Easy Preparation
I get so weak on the knees… when I hear about Spaghetti Bolognese! I
am a huge fan of this infamous dish since I was a child. So what makes
this dish such a great hit to almost everyone? I know one thing, it's
easy to prepare! Almost everyone have their own recipe. The sauce plays
a major role in making this dish an all-time favorite among people from
all walks of life. The sauce, as one cook puts it, will make or break
your Spaghetti Bolognese. While an Old Italian lady, who considers
herself a guardian of this tradition, said that pouring a whole lot of
your heart into preparing the dish, makes it even more special than all
special ingredients combined. So let's put our hearts into this, shall
we, as we prepare our very own Spaghetti Bolognese.

Here are the ingredients you need:
* Ground beef (1 lb)
* Un-smoked bacon (4 rashers, chopped)
* Italian herbs (1 teaspoon dried, mixed)
* Medium onion (1)
* Cloves garlic (2, diced)
* Medium carrots (2, diced)
* Tomatoes (1 8 oz. can, chopped)
* Water (1can)
* Beef bouillon cube (1)
* Tomato puree (4 tablespoons)
* Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
* Salt and pepper
* Spaghetti (1 lb)
* Red wine
* Pineapple juice
Preparation:
You need a heavy bottomed saucepan or a skillet. Heat the oil and mix
all the veggies together for about 5-10 minutes until it all darkens to
a brown. Dice the 2 medium carrots, 2 cloves of garlic, and 1 medium
onion. Add the Olive oil. Chop the un-smoked (streaky) bacon into small
pieces will so that it will distribute the taste evenly. Mix it all
together. Add the ground beef and cook until it gets brownish. That is
your cue to add all the remaining ingredients, the tomatoes, 1 teaspoon
of dried and mixed Italian herbs, salt and pepper and of course, a
quarter of a cup of red wine to taste. Let the mixture boil and simmer
for about 25 minutes while stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
While at it, cook the spaghetti for 10-15 minutes until tender.

One tip to make the pasta taste better is boiling it in pineapple
juice. Drain the spaghetti with a colander once the tenderness you
desire has been acquired, pour the sauce and toss the strands until
fully coated. The final touch would be to sprinkle it with Parmesan
cheese, freshly grated. Add the grated black pepper, too… and don't
forget the herbs. This recipe is good for four servings. You can serve
this with garlic bread and vegetable salad (or any salad you prefer).
Yummy! I just remembered that a slice of pizza tastes great with
Spaghetti Bolognese. If you have some sauce left, you can keep it in the
refrigerator and reheat when needed. This sauce is perfect for lasagna
and other pasta dishes. Go ahead and start making your own Spaghetti
Bolognese. We have laid down all that you need. Did we forget something?
Oh yes, just like the old lady said - sprinkle it with love and you'll
never go wrong. |
